“How are you, Izabela?” is a storybook for a school-age children. It is an original work of the writer Diana Mašlejová, one of the most popular contemporary Slovak storytellers. The main character, Izabela, is an young Roma girl with a difficult life in settlement. She stands out for her above-average intelligence and desire for education which brings a lot of confusion into her life. Social worker, Zuzka, who regularly visits the family, persuades the parents to send her to a school in the city. Suddenly, Izabela feels somehow different within a mixed collective of her classroom.
